It was my Dad's birthday on Saturday.

We had lunch...... and cake :) The whole cake in fact! 

There wasn't a morsel left.

Cakes My Mom Made Me

My mom and I were reminiscing last week about some of the birthday cakes she made us girls when we were little. I dug out my photo albums and thought it would be fun to share some of the photographs with you.

Guess what I got for my 5th birthday?! I was SO proud of that bike, and so ashamed of the fairy wheels.

That's my sister Esti with me in the top picture.Tiffany was born 2 months later in October 1986.

For my 6th birthday (1987) I had two cakes - one to take to school and share with my classmates and the other for my party. I had a blackboard birthday cake because I was a "big girl" and was going to start "big school" the next year. Notice the cupcakes with the funny faces :)

I was such a princess that my mom even made a Valentines day cake for me to take to school! (1989)
